Brain Food Copenhagen is an events organiser that endeavours to bring people together in an informal setting to eat, drink, and learn about interesting topics from interesting people. Our first event will be on the subject of genetics where our two ignorant hosts get to ask an expert everything they've always wanted to know about genetics. Why did a Soviet scientist cause a famine by trying to genetically engineer wheat to be communist? Am I related to a potato? Who owns my genes? Why are all Icelandic women from Ireland? So many questions, so little time!
The Brain: Dr Paula Hedley, head of genetics at Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen.
The Food: Three course tapas menu, with optional drinks menu. A vegan or vegetarian option is available upon request.
